Judge won't halt hotel demolition

The vacant Plymouth Hotel, located at Leland and Broadway, is slated for demolition. A Cook County Circuit Court judge Friday denied a request by a North Side community activist group to issue a temporary restraining order, aimed at halting the demolition.

The group was filing an appeal.
